STREAM-VOLTAMP Cooperation Boosts QR 77 M
Call-Off Contract
KAHRAAMA awarded a two year call-off
contract for the supply of ground mounted transformers
to Stream in 17th of November, 2005 amounting to QRS
77,409,885.00. The duration period of the contract
is still effective at present and shall be completed
in 2007. The agreement was duly signed and executed
between powerhouse officials of respective parties,
H.E. Abdulla Bin Hamad Al Attiyah, KAHRAAMA Chairman
and Sami El Shafai, Executive Director, Stream and
Board Member, Salam International. The supply is comprised
mainly of 1000 units of 1000 KVA Ground Mounted Transformers
and 620 units of 1600 KVA Ground Mounted Transformers
of which its manufacturer is one of Stream’s
key partners in the industry, Voltamp LLC, originating
from Oman.
Stream and Voltamp’s partnership
has boosted a million riyal worth cooperation and
is also in turn strengthened as ties that duly bind.
Both of the companies’ quality assurance systems
are ISO9001 certified. Located at the Rusayl Industrial
Estate, the Muscat manufacturer is renowned for producing
Distribution and Power Transformers and for being
a quality-committed organization catering to a wide
range of specifications from normal to demanding applications.

Stream Turns Heads in QWETEX
Stream takes centrestage in QWETEX 2005 among
exhibitors having one of the exceptional stands in conglomerate
with Qatari German Switchgear Co. (QGC). As the Qatar
Exhibition Hall opened its doors to its guests, the
undeniable attention of the press from TV, radio, publications
and business figures of the industrial sector from different
parts of the region and other countries as well has
been turned to Stream. During the unveiling, powerhouse
Salam International (SIIL) top management leaders have
been present to bolster up Stream’s participation.
Stream has been reunited with its allies in the industry
all the way from Germany, Italy, Oman and the UAE bringing
its partners to the country such as Siemens, Severn
Trent De Nora ,Voltamp, Demag, Compair, FLIR Systems
respectively, opening doors to new and fresh opportunities.
